Empowerment : Tesimonials
“I learned to not make my own expectations of how God will work…”
“It’s not as difficult as I had thought to do one-on-one evangelism with those you never met before.”
“I’ve seen that it doesn’t take powerful people to reach the lost but willing people.”
“God showed me that people are looking for the type of comfort and truth only He can provide”
“Going out to serve was a reminder that love is a lifestyle, not an emotion.”
Faith Trips
“And he called the twelve together and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal.” – Luke 9:1–2, ESV
“After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them on ahead of him, two by two, into every town and place where he himself was about to go. And he said to them, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.’” – Luke 10:1–2, ESV
These trips are based off Biblical Scripture from Luke 9:1-6 and 10:1-12. Hebrews 11 gives examples all throughout the Bible of people stepping out in faith. I lead a team of at least 2 and maximum of 5 people. Someone interested on doing a faith trip is the one chosen to pray into the location. They have the option to invite others. This happens anywhere from 6-8 weeks in advance of the trip. There is one virtual meeting so the team can meet one another, and we go over details. A week prior to the trip, a day is picked for everyone to pray and fast. Day of the trip, everyone flies or drives to the location, and the faith journey begins.
What is Faith?
“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” – Hebrews11:1, ESV
Purpose
1
Live out the Bible. Obey Jesus.
“But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” – James 1:22, ESV
“Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him: whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.” – 1 John 2:4–6, ESV
2
Empower people to hear the Holy Spirit.
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” – John 10:27, ESV
3
Encourage people to step out in faith.
“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” – Galatians 2:20, ESV
4
Equip the people to share the Gospel with the power of the Holy Spirit and make it part of their everyday life.
“And he said to them, ‘Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.’” – Mark 16:15, ESV
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” – Acts 1:8, ESV
5
Build people’s faith by seeing God move.
“Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.” – John 14:12, ESV
Mission
“…for we walk by faith, not by sight.” – 2 Corinthians 5:7, ESV
A team of at least 2 people go on a 3-day mission trip led by the Holy Spirit.
A team member prays into a list of top 50 most dangerous or church-less cities in America.
Everyone on the team prays into different questions.
We pursue the answers the Holy Spirit revealed to each member while in the city location.
We do not plan housing and trust for Jesus to provide.
No planning other than to follow the Holy Spirit’s leading to share the Gospel, heal the sick, and set captives free.
“If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.” – Galatians 5:25, ESV
Evangelism Traning
Does your church or ministry want to be empowered in sharing the Gospel?”
Louis is passionate about seeing God’s people boldly living out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19) and teaching people to be witnesses of the Gospel. You don’t have to be gifted in evangelism or know the whole Bible. All you need is the will to obey, learn, and say, “Here I am Lord, send me!” (Isaiah 6:8). If you would like to grow in sharing the Gospel, Louis would love to equip you.
Contact us below to setup a one-day training, speaking request or another way you or your ministry could be empowered.
Fasting Workshops
What is true biblical fasting? Can people really fast 40 days with only water?
A big part of Louis’ story is an answer to those questions. If you are interested in learning more about biblical fasting, embarking on life-changing fasts, and experiencing greater intimacy with Jesus, reach out.
Fun Facts: Louis loves to play chess, run, read books, and is big on health and fasting.
Partner with Louis
Louis is looking for monthly financial partners who want to support the advancing of the Gospel, equipping the church with evangelism, and making disciples. He is not able to do this on his own. One-time gifts are a blessing as well. If you want to know more, please check out his social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube), and stay updated by signing up for his monthly newsletter with the links above (under his name). You can connect with him through social media by sending him a message, from there, he will reach out to schedule a virtual meeting to share more of what he’s doing! All for Jesus!
